Learn Teach Inspire February 18-19, 2019

Learn how to have your students present in a variety of 21st-century mediums. Participants will hear about free and straightforward tools that allow students to record videos, create novels, capture their voice, and create custom animations. These tools will allow your students to have access to a plethora of tools to create presentations that capture and interest their audience more than a standard Google Slide, as well as create a presentation in a more welcoming manner than traditional public speaking. The tools that will be covered range from digital book creations with websites like Storybird, to 2D Animations with voiceovers and music, like Powtoon. After hearing about a few of these multimedia tools, the floor will open into a discussion format where participants can ask questions, introduce other potential multimedia presentation tools, discuss various methods in which these tools can be used, and interact with the tools in order to prepare for using them in their own classroom.
