In this session, enrichment teachers will review best practices for second grade child find to ensure equity throughout the district. We will review the screening process and appropriate timelines, proper scoring procedures for student products, and have opportunities to practice scoring second grade child find work samples. Also, enrichment teachers will be trained on how to administer the newly developed Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test- Third Edition (NNAT3). The NNAT3 is a nonverbal measure of general ability and is ideal for use with a diverse population.
